Secrets of the Big Dogs: Steven Wagenheim and Horse Manure

Steven Wagenheim is a good friend of mine and a fellow Alpha Dog. He is one of the most consistent Alpha Dogs ever.

He has generously agreed to share some of the tips and strategies that he has learned over the years with us. The next few letters will spotlight his secrets to online success. Okay, Steven, the floor is yours:

Hi:

This month I'm going to concentrate on ad writing, which is THE most important piece in all of this. Without a good ad you just can't succeed. You also need a good product or service. If you try to sell horse manure online I don't care how good your ads are. You WON'T be successful.

Let's start with the ad writing...

Whatever it is you are selling you MUST do the following in your ads.

1) Be sincere. Do NOT load up your ads with a lot of hype. People are sick of hype. Give them the straight facts without painting a rosy picture. Be honest.

2) Explain to them how your product or service will make their life better. People buy things not because they want them but because they think they will have a better life from the things they buy. Tell them why their life will be better, how your product or service will help THEM.

3) Always include your phone number in your ads. People like knowing they are talking to a real person and not some Internet robot. Make sure they know you are a real person.

Now let's get to your product or service.

1) You can promote the Big Dogs ebook or the Honest Income ebook. Both are cheap, and satisfy a need, In the case of Big Dogs, effective advertising tools. In the case of Honest Income Program, a real paying job and a 3 step system to making a decent income online.

2) You can promote your own product or service. Only you can answer the question of how viable that is. Again, you must answer these questions. Is it relatively inexpensive? Does it satisfy a person's need, solve a problem, etc.?

Ultimately what you promote is up to you. Give this a lot of
thought as it will be one of the most important decisions you make.
